Kisha Couchman is Deputy Director of Policy at Energy UK, where she leads work to accelerate the UK’s transition to Net Zero by enabling investment in low-carbon power generation and strengthening system operability and resilience.

Kisha works closely with Energy UK members, government, Ofgem and international stakeholders to shape policy positions across a broad portfolio, including electricity market reform, generation and storage, carbon pricing, and security of supply. Her work also focuses on the strategic role of UK–EU energy cooperation, including market integration and carbon market alignment.

Before joining Energy UK, Kisha worked in public affairs and the legal sector, specialising in energy and environment.
