Emma Ford is Head of Gas Construction at National Grid, leading a team responsible for the construction of new assets, along with major works on asset refurbishment. Emma is also leading two key initiatives for National Grid: implementation of National Grid’s Net Zero Construction target; and National Grid Mental Health Construction campaign.

Emma has a background in environmental geology. Her leadership experience, varies from consultancy through to developing wind farms, alongside Electricity and Gas construction. Emma is an ambassador for diversity in the workplace, supporting Women in National Grid, mentoring colleagues and supporting the network. Emma’s passion is identifying and developing talent, creating opportunities within organisations for individuals to reach their full potential.
