Rachel has been Executive Director at the Aldersgate Group since 2023. She has been working in environment and energy policy for 23 years, having begun her career on the Defra graduate programme, and has held leadership roles within public, private and non-profit sectors. Rachel is driven by understanding complex environmental problems from all sides and seeking pragmatic solutions. She is closely involved with cross-cutting policy initiatives such as the Transition Finance Council, the DESNZ Net Zero Council, and the Broadway Initiative’s Nature Markets Dialogue.
