Steve Cook is a Founder and Senior Vice President at Launchpad, channelling bp’s capabilities into the discovery, building, and scaling of new digital and physical energy businesses for a net-zero carbon future. He has over 20 years of experience working at bp on renewable and non-renewable business areas, focussing particularly on project strategy, engineering and development, and technology-related business development. He posts and engages with followers on his LinkedIn and Medium pages, providing insights into life at bp and the investments being made to meet their net-zero ambitions. He has also co-authored a chapter in the book Scaling-up Corporate Startups: Turn Innovation Concepts into Business Impact. Steve holds a BA, Chemistry and D.Phil., Bio-Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
